I have been thinking about this project for over a year & I am so excited to say that I finally got my shades. I had googled many sources & when I came across your website & read about your shades & visiting with you, I was sold. You were so patient & very knowledgeable as to our needs. Your shipment of shades, carefully packaged components & detailed instructions were received on schedule. It only took my husband & neighbor a few hours to get them laid out & installed. I couldn't believe the difference they made on the patio with the heat from the sun.  We can hardly wait till we can entertain with our family & friends on our "shaded patio". We LOVE our CableShades!!! It has been 90 degrees the past week and the inside of the house has never gotten warmer than 73 (no a/c), thanks to the shades' protection on the south side of the house.  They also look great, are much easier to use than anticipated, and make sitting outside midday possible.  Thank you for taking such good care of us and our project!"

3 hrs. to put in the eyelets yesterday; 1 1/2 hrs. to hang the panels today. Everything went flawlessly; it was easy to see how much time it must have taken you to work out all the details and put together such a complete package. As you can see, the color is perfect also. "Hi Len,

The shades are installed and we are very pleased!  I found a helper for yesterday rather than mess around with how to do it by myself. We got better very quickly.  The first one took about 45 minutes.  We were constantly in the wrong place, with the wrong tools, and moving ladders way too much.  By the second one we were getting better, about 30 minutes.  By the third, we were down to 15 minutes, and the last 3 went up in under 12 minutes. Good learning curve.

We are really thrilled with the look and feel.  We love the color 
selection and the quality of your work.  Thanks for all your patient working with me on the order.

I completed the install yesterday. My "helper" was unavailable until later so I used bungee cords to hold the shades up to install height. It worked like a charm. The shades look great and my wife loves them. See attached photos."

"I had never heard of retractable canopies before and didn't have a patio cover, just some ideas about what I'd like. Len helped me with design of my patio cover and answered endless questions about his retractable canopies. He was extremely helpful. The canopies he made for me were very nice and work as described. The weekend I put them up we got lots of wind, rain and even hail and the canopies held up great. Installation was pretty easy. I would definitely recommend these canopies. The simple instructions were very helpful and I am so happy with the outcome. I wish all businesses would treat their customers as you do and I will recommend you to all my associates. "Hello Len,

Hope business is going well - just wanted to finally get some photos to you of the final installation of your product on my pergola here in the eastern Finger Lakes.

We started this effort with lots of research about a year ago...and are finally enjoying the fruits of that!   The last snow melted away off the patio around April 20th, after which I enlisted my son to come up from NYC to help install the shades over an extended weekend.  While there was a little bit of learn as you go, by the time we finished the last panel, we were experts.

Now, with the sun fully hitting the patio area from 9am until 8pm at this time of the year, we have essentially added another complete seasonal room to the house. Instead of retreating away from the overhead sun and the resulting heat trapped in the patio area during the day, we have a very comfortable area for outdoor lunch, entertaining guests, enjoying the backyard birds and that all important evening cocktail before grilling dinner. 

From inside, we also now enjoy the view out towards the back yard all day long, instead of closing off the dining room sliding doors and shutting the indoor blinds when that sun hits. We already have shown it off to a number of friends who admire the results and will themselves be thinking of CableShade when they decide on similar projects in the future. We appreciate your support to help ensure we bought the right size, right length, and right color for our needs. Additionally, your written installation instructions specifically for this job enabled the contractor to set up the pergola correctly, and easily guided me with the installation of the shades.

I still have to finish up the installation, but everything works and went up easy. Less than an 8 hour install by myself. My 10’ ladder held the shades at the correct elevation. Half of the install was drilling the 28 holes in the steel. I will send more pictures, when completed. Bottom line -- I am very pleased with what you provide.
